With an enrollment of over 600, it is the largest Catholic elementary and middle school in the Diocese of Charleston. The school was founded in 1950 and is named for the two original contributing parishes: Christ Our King Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant and Stella Maris Catholic Church on Sullivan's Island.
